It has come to my attention that their are a couple of things happening in Salisbury today that I think will be of great interest to the citizens of Delmarva. The first event that is happening is for sure to make many people in the area really happy and that is according to the blog site www.sbynews.com the National Guard Reservist are returning to the Salisbury Armory on Route 50 tonight. They are scheduled to return to the armory by 6pm. This event is open to the public. The other event taking place in Salisbury is a Wounded Warrior Banquet and that is being held at the American Legion Post 64 in Salisbury. This banquet is being held on Saturday September 28, 2013. If you want to attend this even then you need to buy your tickets now. No tickets will be sold at the door. The prices of tickets are $25 per person or $40 per couple. I'm hoping these events will generate a lot of support for our former and current troops. So Delmarva will you be attending either of these events? How can we show these soldiers our gratitude for there selfless dedication to our great nation?
